Meet Dean Hudson
Dean Hudson, Founder and CEO of Aquaspecs, has 25+ years’ experience in the pool and spa industry. He specializes in residential and commercial pool, spa and deck renovation, backyard makeovers and Health Department Code upgrades.
His commercial clients include the City of San Diego municipal pools, community association aquatic facilities and many local hotels and health clubs.
Dean is a licensed pool and spa contractor, and is an active member of the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals (APSP). Chemtrol has awarded Dean a certificate for Chemical Automation for commercial pools and spas. Dean is certified as a pool and spa Operator Instructor through the National Spa and Pool Foundation (NSPF).
As a parent himself, Dean is a passionate advocate for water safety and teaching both adults and kids to swim. He is a supporter of organizations such as Step Into Swim Campaign and The San Diego Junior Lifeguards, whose mission is to teach water safety to kids.
Dean’s other passion is sharing his love of the ocean, the sport of rugby and volunteers rugby coaching for kids and young adults in San Diego County.
